All Oculus rift headsets stop working unexpectedly due to an expired certification

New update has take place: after almost one day of downtime ,the company has announced an official Patch  to fix this probem from here. and for more details about how to get you reft running again from here.

Yesterday, all users of Oculus's rift found that their headsets no working, why? after a process of finding out what's is really going on, its was appears that the problem was a single expired certificate, as reported by Neowin. this one which it was a part of Oculus Runtime service. it was being read as an invalid certificate. The cause was like someone who forgot to add a new file to a software.

A file called OculusAppFramework.dll was responsible for all this issues, for the headsets and software to get runs again as normal will need only an update.and here's what the error message was displayed to users: "Your Oculus software may be updating. Please wait a minute and try again. If the issue continues, contact Oculus support".

Of course, Some users were reporting that they’ve been able to get things back runs as normal when they updated their system clock, so it’s probably the best solution until a patch comes out from Oculus.

Here's what the co-founder of Oculus Nate Mitchell said on Twitter :

Also, the company announced that they were aware of the issue and they said that they are working to correct the problem. it can be temporarily fixed by setting your computer’s date to earlier than March 7th. The whole issue wasn't a massive deal for the company and it was fixed quickly with a software update, but it was really annoying if you've tried to use your headset yesterday.

Google start to previews Stack Overflow answers directly in Search results

Google has started displaying previews for Stack Overflow answers directly in Search. Now it will be easier for developers and programmers to find the best answers to questions submitted to Stack Overflow. This clearly means that you can easily filter through the most popular answers to Stack Overflow submissions with having to load the page. The current layout shows the responses only partially, so you will still have to visit the website to read the full responses. Here is how the new layout looks like in comparison to the older one: The Next Web asked Stack Overflow about the feature – and while the company confirmed it has noticed the feature – it pointed The Next Web to Google for further comment. They reached out to Google for a clarification and will update this piece accordingly if they hears back.
