The rollout of 5G technology is coming to Uk with £25 million

The British government has announced £25 million to pave the way for test projects of 5G technology in the future.

this fund will be split into six test projects, starting from exploring the benefits of 5G for rural communities, tourism, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing to self-driving cars.



This technology is promising that you will see networks upgraded to be faster and more reliable. Not only will 5G bring improved broadband and connectivity for consumers, it will see new technologies such as self-driving cars, the internet of things, wireless VR and drone deliveries become a reality.  

The 5G for phones are expected to arrive on the market next year, other 5G networks aren't expected to launch in the UK until at least 2020. this work involves collaboration from across the mobile industry, government, regulators, service providers and infrastructure companies.
